The Mann Foundation’s Annual Mann of the Year Awards Every April, The Mann Foundation hosts an event in New York City that honors the superstars from Wall Street, Real Estate, and Fashion. The Mann of the Year Awards, as they are called, in honor of founder, Jeff Mann, pay tribute to individuals who go out of their way to provide excellent service to clients as well as the community. The Mann of the Year Awards is a night for guests to dazzle in the glitz and glamour that New York has to offer. Proceeds from this event benefit the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (ADRC) at Mount Sinai. With much support from friends and family The Mann Foundation believes that a cure for Alztheimer’s Disease is on the horizon. 4th Annual Mann Of The Year Awards Stars from the apparel, real estate and financial industries shined at the Mann Foundation’s 4th Annual Mann of the Year Awards benefiting The Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center at Mount Sinai. The ice sculpture of the Mann Foundation logo glistened upon entering 583 Park Avenue; meanwhile, the venue took on a tropical feel downstairs. Tiki torches and grass skirts donned the “hut” raffle table where a trip to the Caleton Beach Club and Villas in the Dominican Republic was the grand prize. Ladies in sarongs enhanced this atmosphere by offering fruity and refreshing cocktails named after the event sponsors. Overall, the event was a wonderful success and could not have happened without the support and generosity of all those that Jeff and Ann are honored to call “friends”.
